A native of Winthrop, Coach Poulin amassed 324 wins in his 22 years as head coach of his hometown Winthrop High School, leading the Ramblers to back to back State Championships in 1992 and 1993. His teams qualified for the tournament in 21 of his 22 seasons at the helm. Dave was inducted into the inaugural class of the Kennebec Valley YMCA Hall of Fame for coaching achievements and contributions to the youth of the area.
