The Lawrence High School alum, Brenda helped usher in the modern era of girls’ basketball in Maine. A gifted inside player with a deft shooting touch, Brenda was named to the first Bangor Daily News All-State girls’ basketball team. After high school, Brenda became one of the first Maine girls to take their skills out of state as she attended William and Penn College.
